The Columbian Squires, the official youth organization of the Knights of Columbus, is a leadership development program for Catholic young men. Founded in 1925, the Knights of Columbus Squires program was created to offer teenage boys leadership training and moral guidance that would serve them for a lifetime. Since that time, it has grown into a widespread organization serving boys ages 10 to 18 years old, located across the United States, Canada, the Philippines, Mexico and the Caribbean.
Each Squires circle receives support from the Knights of Columbus on a local, state, and international level. This maintains a unified focus while allowing circles to evolve on their own.
