Daffodils Spring Up, CatechiCYM

Last Fall - which seems so far away, buried under snow drifts and icy puddles, the youth from our CatechiCYM group planted over 50 Daffodil bulbs.  It was a chaotic project with nearly that many pre-teens trying to dig, plant, and water at the same time.  Katie Tobin, one of our Youth Ministers, fostered this idea of planting bulbs - a sign of hope for the whole parish.

CatechiCYM is one religious education option available for students in grades 6-8.  It is a multi-age community that strives to teach our youth how to become responsible parishioners and believers.  Also involved in the planning and implementation of this group are Jyl Dittbenner, Glen Rochussen, and Tracy Greene.  Each week we face the challenge of presenting our faith in an interesting and interactive way.  On average we have about 50 students.
