Annual Parish Picnic PDF Print E-mail

St. Francis announces its Annual Parish Picnic, for September 12, 2010.  This event will also mark  our 10 Year Anniversary!  For ten years we've been in this building and seen many changes in pastoral leadership as well as improvements in both the space, and the ministerial offerings.  We will be seeking photos and memories of our parish to be used in a presentation at the picnic.  If you can help provide these, please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it   Digital photos are most appreciated - but we will take hard copies as well, and any anecdotes you care to share.  More details to follow!

On the Road to the Diaconate PDF Print E-mail

A few weeks ago, St. Francis announced that two of our parishioners are now on the road to the Diaconate.  We congratulate Doug Rogers and John Castelot and ask you to pray for them and the rest of their class on this journey. As they aspire to become Deacons, they are known as "aspirants."

There is much to learn about the Diaconate, and in the coming year, we will be asking Doug and John to share their reflections with us to be posted on this website.

We look forward to supporting them with our prayers, and encouraging them with our questions.  In the meantime, here are some articles about the Deaconate http://www.catholic.org/national/national_story.php?id=26824.
