Usher:   Greet parishoners arriving for Mass, take up the collection, and assist people as needed.

Lector:   The role of the Lector is to proclaim the Word of God.  As leaders of worship at Saint Francis of Assisi Parish, you become a public figure to whom others look.  People will notice your reverence and your manner of presentation.  For some, your proclamation will make a difference in their attentiveness to the Word and how it impacts their daily life after the liturgy.

Eucharistic Minister:   The special ministry of the Eucharist is to serve the Eucharistic community, assisting the priest in giving communion to the faithful at Mass. It is with great reverence that this very special privilege is to be shared.

The Sacristan:   This person is responsible for preparing the sacred vessels, organizing the items associated with the liturgy, preparing the linens, and just being ready to help Father be ready for the celebration of Mass.  If you have a deep devotion to the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist, this ministry may be what God is calling you to.

Altar Server: These individuals assist the priest in the celebration of the Mass by bringing him the items he needs at specific times of the service.  They ring the bells, hold the book, carry the candles, and participate fully in the Mass.  The goal is to to be inconspicuous when you are not exercising your ministry, and when you are in the limelight, to serve reverently and attentively.
