Calling all Singers! Are you looking for a way to serve the Parish? Do you love to sing? Please consider the Adult Folk Group. Led by Jyl Dittbenner, the Adult Folk Group leads singing and music at the Saturday 4:00 pm Mass, September through June. Our goal is to encourage parishioners to join in the celebration of the Mass through singing praise and thanksgiving to our Lord Jesus Christ. Its current members range from 30-50 years old. Typically, singing is complemented with guitar, sometimes congas, bass and tambourine. Skill level is modest but we have fun! Currently seeking a regular bass player and canter. Although, we are always looking for anyone who loves to sing and/or play an instrument. The music selection ranges from contemporary -- taken from the St. Francis Song Book (i.e. ‘Yellow Book”) and other sources to traditional -- taken from the Music Issue or Today’s Missal. We also occasionally play original compositions written by members of the folk group. Practice: Tuesdays 6:30 (Instruments Only); All 7:15 ~ 8:30pm in the Church Performances: Saturdays 3:00pm warm-up before Mass
