Cathollic Adventure in Truth, Encountering Christ Here in CYM

In this group students from grades 6-8 gather to grow closer to Christ through their interactions and sharing with one another.  Some highlights of our previous year included:

• Planting Daffodils in the Fall and discussing how the flowers might inspire and touch each parishioner who saw them.
• Watching a movie of a Catholic orphanage who helped some Jewish children escape the Nazi Regime.
• Attending the Diosecan gathering of Youth for the Hampshire Hills Lock-in.  Not only did we spend a night in the health club being healthy, but we also nourished our souls with Mass and some time of learning.
• Hosting our own Reconciliation Service so that we might learn about and experience this important sacrament.
• Discussing the Lessons of the Geese, and learning how we can grow in community as well.
• Hearing a letter from a real-life missionary in her 80's doing something to help the poorest of the poor.
