Working together Teams of 3-6 High School Students will build a cardboard house to sleep in for the night. Parishioners will donate the Cardboard, duck tape, tarps, and food for the event.
Group members shall:
- Collect donations from friends and family
- Pay the $10 entry fee
- Bring proper gear to spend the night outside
- Sign the No Drug/No Alcohol pledge
- Bring parental permission slip
- Follow all rules and guidelines as requested
Adult Volunteers shall:- Attend the PGC workshop
- Help the kids stay safe by following rules
- Assist with set-up and clean-up
- Encourage everyone to work together
Schedule: Saturday of the event: Arrive at 4:00PM
Expect to build your house within a couple of hours
Dinner will be served at 5:00PM (invite family - $5.00 Per non-participant)
At some point there will be a movie, at the time of the movie and after is "lights out" - everyone needs to either watch the movie or go to their shacks for the evening - not to come out until morning.
