Men's Breakfast PDF Print E-mail

Image The St. Francis Men's Breakfast is held on the first Saturday of the month from October through June at 7:00 am in the gathering space.
We start off each morning with a hot, home cooked breakfast made fresh that morning by our early morning cooks. The food selection changes each month. Next we spend a few minutes in prayer in the Eucharist Chapel to clear our heads from the past work week and thank God for the gifts he’s given us. Next we are given a few minutes of spiritual guidance from one of the laymen in the parish and a large group discussion follows on the topic. The whole event ends at 8:00am so you will have the rest of the day for your “honey-do list”. Somewhere during the breakfast there is always time to talk Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, Bruins and other concerns men might have in the world of sports. Set your alarm clock and let the men of St. Francis fill you with food, spirit and laughter on the first Saturday of the month.

Up and coming speakers:

The next breakfast is Saturday, March 6th at 7:00am in gathering space. Our guest speaker will be Chris Gandia. Chris is a father of two boys, Londonderry police officer and husband to Laura who is with the New Hampshire State House of Representatives. The food is cooked hot that morning. Please join us for some food, faith and fun on the first Saturday of each month.

We will not be having a men's breakfast for the month of April because it falls on Holy Week. Instead we are invited to the Men of St. Joseph annual mass & breakfast with the Bishop on March 27th at 8:00am at St. Joseph Church in Manchester. Our St. Francis seminarian Kyle Stanton will be the guest speaker! Please contact Doug @860-5597 if you are planning on attending so we can provide the caterers with a head count for the food.

The next St. Francis men's breakfast will be Saturday, May 1st.
