The Saint Francis Pastoral Council meets on the first Saturday of each month, immediately following the 9:00 AM Mass.
The purpose of the Parish Pastoral Council is to serve the apostolate of the pastor by investigating, considering and recommending conclusions on all practical matters of parish life. This helping the pastor better exercise the ministry of parish leadership.
Dr. Mark Fischer describes the pastoral council as "a way to formalize the relationship between Catholic pastors and people."
